Sentosa Island

Had a work appointment at Sentosa yesterday. So i had the fortunate opportunity to visit our entertaining island on a weekday when most folks were in their concrete jungles. Took the boardwalk from VivoCity to the Visitors Centre at Sentosa and though the weather was pretty hot, most parts of the walk was very well-shaded.

Heading to Sentosa via the boardwalk

or rather using the travellator that was in the shelter

I can see the RWS fairly clearly from the boardwalk

The Crane Dance in daylight

Love how they adorn the typically unsightly rubbish bins with dainty plants

Haven't quite found out what the deal is with cranes and Sentosa but love these origami ones made from recycled tear sheets that were dangling off the ceilings of the boardwalk.

Nothing beats a nice, cold, coconut sorbet in the middle of a hot, sunny day.

Heading back to VivoCity with a smile :)

P.S: Look out for the Sentosa TVC and print ads that targets the mid-year school break ;)
